Lottie F. Fitzpatrick, 84, of Rockford, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born June 16, 1929 in Rockford; daughter of John and Frances Makosh. Married Roger “Mike” Fitzpatrick on June 17, 1950 in Rockford, who predeceased her in March 2009. She was a graduate of Bishop Muldoon High School, Class of 1947. Lottie worked as a secretary at Barber Colman, retiring in 1996. Member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She loved traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her time volunteering at SwedishAmerican Hospital, being with her Rosary group and she loved playing cards, especially with her Pinochle ladies. Lottie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her children, Kathy (Ted) Beck of Cherry Valley, Tim (Kathy) Fitzpatrick of Rolling Meadows, Karin (Marty) Litwin of Algonquin and Teresa (Daryl) Streed of Caledonia; grandchildren, Lindsay (Josh) Dannenberg, Tricia (Fortunato) Salamone, Stacey (Chad) Bonacorsi, Scott Fitzpatrick, Joelle (Wes) Szyszka, Emily & Ben Litwin and Brandon & Dylan Streed; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jennie Ciembronowicz and Ed (Ann) Makosh and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband, brother, Chet Makosh; brother-in-law, Ed Ciembronowicz and infant grandson, Adam Beck. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Reverend Darek Barna officiating. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 24 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
