Lucille Fann

Lucille Fann, 75 of Machesney Park, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in Rockford. Born September 21, 1937 in Bon Aqua, TN the daughter of Homer B. and Beulah M. (Beard) Ferguson. Worked several years assembling parts for Modern Metals ,retiring in 2002. Lucille enjoyed sewing, shopping and spending time out in her backyard caring for her many flower gardens. She always picked a beautiful bouquet of flowers from her yard for her two great granddaughters upon visiting them. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.Survivors include her son, Eugene (Carol) Fann of Rockford; granddaughter, Melissa (Scot) Prindiville of Mt. Vernon; great granddaughters, Brooke and Ashley; mother, Beulah Ferguson; brother, Junior (Linda) Ferguson and sisters, Beatrice (Byron) Cayce, Joyce (Nelson) Choate and Rita (J.C.) Leaman, many nieces, nephews and special friends. Preceded in death by her father , grandsons, Kevin and Brent and sister and brotherinlaw, Terry (Bill) Smoot. Funeral service Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Pastor Brad Rogers of Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating. Entombment will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation Saturday in the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.
