Lucy A. Hall

Rockford- Lucy A. Hall, 91, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 29, 1919 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Joseph and Lucy (Terranella) Arnone. Married her loving husband Charles Hall on August 31, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. Lucy was a devoted caregiver to all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She surrounded herself with their love every minute she could. She learned the importance of family at a young age when she had to take care of her brother and sister. She took care of children both privately and in her home. nbsp;Lucy also took time to enjoy her flower gardens, reading and animals. She was a great woman with a warm and loving personality and will be missed by all. Survivors include her son Mike (Joann) Hall of Rockton; daughter, Linda (Patrick J. ) Van Barriger of Rockford; grandchildren, Todd, Amy (Mike Colletta), Nicholas (Evelyn) Hall and Kevin and Kurtis Van Barriger; great grandchildren, Madison, Jocelyn, Lainey and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents , her husband in 1988 and her brother and sister.

Funeral Mass, Monday, March 14, 2011 at St. Peter nbsp;Cathedral, 1243 N. Church St. at 11:00 a.m. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of prayer at 10:45 at the church. Interment to be held at Greenwood Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to: St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1942.
