Mallard A. “Steve” Keller, 56
Rockford -Mallard A. “Steve” Keller, 56 passed away Friday, November 21, 2014. Born March 12, 1958 in Rockford, the son of Herman “Buck” & Evelyn (McKinney) Keller. Steve worked for Rockford Forging Die & Tool Co.for many years. Steve enjoyed spending time with friends and family, “Social time” drinking coffee, He also enjoyed the Christmas Holidays, but most of all he loved spending time with his beloved daughters Jessie (Brian) Atkinson and Brianna Keller and his grandchildren Julian Atkinson, Jericho Keller and Samara Gray.
He is survived by mother Evelyn Keller, sister Kathy (Jim) Moore, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by father, Herman “Buck” Keller; brothers Jesse and Danny Keller and granddaughter Jayleigh Atkinson.
Memorial services will be 10 am Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Riverside Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. James Moore officiating. Memorial may be made to the family for Steve’s daughters.
