Margaret A. Wahl, 89, Rockford, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010, at Wesley Willows Retirement Community. She was born September 22, 1921, in Rockford, the daughter of Emmitt and Nora (Murphy) Hickey.nbsp; Margaret married John Joseph Wahl on Nov 18, 1944. She was a real estate agent with Whitehead Realtors for many years.nbsp; Margaret was a member of Cathedral of St. Peter andnbsp;nbsp; was a longtime member of Rockford Country Club and the University Club.nbsp;

Survived by her granddaughter, Melissa (Jason) Rager of Winnebago, her grandson, Brian (Jen) Wahl of South Beloit; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Elaina Rager and Jack Wahl; daughter-in-law, Theresa Wahl of Rockford, and sister-in-law, Vivian Hickey. Predeceased by her husband, John,nbsp; in February, 1957, and son, Brian in November, 2010.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00am, Friday, December 31, 2010, at Cathedral of St. Peter, 1243 N. Church St. Rockford, IL 61103 with the Very Reverend Joseph P.
