Margaret Rmonouski

Margaret M. Romonouski 83 of Rockford passed away peacefully at home, April, 19, 2013. Margaret was born March 18, 1930, in Rockford. Daughter of Frank and Margaret (DiGiovanni) Guarino. Married her loving husband, William J. Romonouski of 58 years, July 23, 1955 in Rockford. Margaret was a member of St Anthony Catholic Church. Margaret’s greatest joy in life included baking, sewing, knitting, and loved bus trips to the casinos. Margaret’s true passion was her family, especially sharing her love with her grandchildren and sharing her joy of cooking and making everyone Mangia! Margaret’s specialties were her famous spaghetti and meatballs, her homemade pizza and certainly can’t forget about her Christmas cookies every year! Survivors include her husband William, son, John (Larissa) Romonouski and daughter Diane (Robert) Wawczak both of Rockford. Grandchildren, Ashley and Michael Romonouski, Devin Hitch, Cory and Cameron Wawczak, great grandchildren, Holli and Gavin Hitch all of Rockford. Sister, Annie (Vincent) Fertitta. Sister-in-law, Josie Guarino, both of Rockford. Predeceased by her brothers, Tony (Louise) Guarino, Joseph Guarino. Sister, Ella (Gus) DeBenedetto. A special thanks to all of our family and friends whose abundant love, support and caring has been immeasurable. Mass of Christian burial at 10am Friday April 26, 2013 in St Anthony Catholic church with the Franciscan friars officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 5pm until 7pm Thursday April 25, in Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 3910 N. Rockton Avenue, with rosary at 7pm. Visitation also from 9qm until 9:45 Friday in the church.
