Marian I. McCoy, 100 Marian I. McCoy, 100, of Whitehall, MI (formerly of Rockford) died July 11, 2007 at the home of her daughter. She was born August 14, 1906, the daughter of James and Elizabeth (Williams) Murphy of Seward, IL and graduated from Seward High School. She married James F. McCoy, November 28, 1929 in Rockford, IL. Marian was a member of the Cathedral of St. Peter, Rockford, IL and St. James Catholic Church, Montague, MI. Marian valued family, faith, friends and independence. She loved her life as a secretary, homemaker and volunteer and enjoyed ballroom dancing, politics and sports. Marian is survived by her children, Robert (Maureen) Schaaf of Springfield, IL, Marian (Michael) Bozym of Whitehall, MI and James (Kathryn) McCoy of Davenport, IA; her grandchildren, Anne (Ronald) Fialko of Maineville, OH, Susan (Charles) Klawans of Brookfield, WI, Gregory (Alice) Schaaf of Lexington, KY, Michael (Kellie) Bozym of Hebron, KY, Kevin (Darcy) Bozym of Caledonia, MI, Mary Carolyn Bozym of Laramie, WY, James McCoy of Boston, MA, Kelly (Anthony) Wagner of Urbandale, IA, Michael McCoy of Edina, MN, Megan and Kathryn McCoy of Davenport, IA; her great-grandchildren, Mary, Therese, and Jillian Fialko, Michelle, Lauren, Brian and Rachel Klawans, Nicholas, Jacob and Lucas Wagner, Andrew, Rachel, Kevin and Aidan Bozym. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James, a son and daughter who died at birth, her daughter, Rosemary Schaaf, her grandsons James and Douglas Schaaf, one brother and seven sisters. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11 am at the Cathedral of St. Peter, 1243 N. Church Street, Rockford followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to Mass from 10:00 am until 10:45 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fr.
