Marie Pauline Gustafson

Marie Pauline Gustafson, 89 Loving Wife, Sister and Aunt   Marie Pauline Gustafson, 89 of Rockford, died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born July 17, 1919 in Spring Valley, the daughter of John N. and Lorenzina (Ellena) Maddio. Worked for Thompsons Drug Store in Spring Valley before she married Robert Gustafson on July 30, 1962. She is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and also belonged to a book club with her friends. Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Robert Gustafson of Rockford; sister, Paula Maddio of Spring Valley and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lawrence Maddio.   Funeral Mass Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4407 Highcrest Rd. with Monsignor Thomas Bales officiating. Interment will be private in Scandinavian Cemetery. Visitation Wed. in church from 10-10:45 a.m.. In lieu of flowers memorials in her name to Holy Family Catholic Church.
