Mario J. Rossella passed away Sat. Oct. 6 th , 2012 at P.A. Peterson Nursing Home.nbsp; Born Sept. 5 th , 1921 in Rockford to Petro and Josephine Rosello.nbsp; Married Sarah Parrovecchio on Jan. 11, 1942 in St. Anthony Church.nbsp; Served in the Army and Air Force during WWII.nbsp; Retired from Chrysler in 1983.nbsp; Member of Holy Family Catholic Church.nbsp; Loved golfing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his sons, Paul (Sandy) of Rockford and Mark of Los Angeles; grandchildren Sarah and Michael Rossella.nbsp; Predeceased by his wife Sarah on Oct. 10, 1988; brothers Roy and Anthony; sisters Sara Josephitis and Pauline Hanford.

Funeral Mass Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd.nbsp; Visitation at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Burial nbsp;in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Winnebago.nbsp; In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Northern IL Hospice or the charity of your choice. Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel is assisting the family.
