Marjorie Bomgarden of Rockford passed away Saturday January 5, 2013 in Rockford Memorial Hospital.nbsp; Marjorie was anbsp; resident of Wesley Willows.nbsp; She was born March 23, 1928 in Elgin, IL.nbsp; The daughter of Ralph and Helen Helm.nbsp; She graduated from Dundee High School and got her teaching degree from the National College of Education.nbsp; She married John E. Owens on April 21, 1951 in Dundee, IL, thennbsp;resided in Rockford.nbsp;nbsp;She then married Harold L. Bomgarden on June 12, 1976.nbsp; Marjorie spent 26 1/2 yrsnbsp;as a Rockford Public School Teacher, teaching at Westview and Conklin Elementary.nbsp; She retired in June of 1986.nbsp; She was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church, the YMCA Senior Womens Club and the North Suburban Womens Club.

Survivors include her husband Harold of Rockford.nbsp; Four children, Rick Owens, Alan Owens and Neal (Shelly) Owens all of Rockford.nbsp; Dawn Owens Adamany of Oregon, WI.nbsp; Two step children, Lisa Bomgarden Defendi of Rockford and Thomas Bomgarden of California.nbsp; Four Grandsons and one Granddaughter.nbsp; Two Great grandchildren.nbsp; Brother Ralph (Vera) Helm Jr of Galena and Sister Pearl (Paul) SteffenAshe of Sun City Center, FL.nbsp; Predeceased by her parents and two children.

Services at 11am Saturday January 12, 2013 in St Paul Lutheran Church 4881 Kilburn Ave. Rockford, Il 61101, with Pastor David J.
