Mark D. Hiltl, 45, of Loves Park passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Rockford Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born July 10, 1970, in the car on the way to the hospital, the son of George and Lavon (Williams) Hiltl. Mark was a graduate of Harlem High School, Rock Valley College and Northern Illinois University. Throughout his life, Mark worked at Northern Prosthetics, the Post Office and Hilander. Mark married Natasha Craig on June 27, 1998 at Grace Lutheran Church. He enjoyed trips to the Wisconsin Dells, boating, fishing, watching Jeopardy and especially spending time with his nieces. The Hiltl Family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Rockford Memorial Hospital and Sisters’ Home Health for their compassionate care.
Survived by his wife, Tasha; parents, George and Lavon; sisters, Heidi (Bill) Donohue, Nancy Hiltl and Trudy (special friend, Barry Rice) Hiltl; nieces, Drew Rose and Riona Lavon; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his in-laws, Edmund “Bud” and Sharon Craig.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Grace Lutheran Church, 343 Grand Ave, Loves Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. To express online condolences, please visit: www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
