Mary Jane Timmons

Mary Jane Timmons, 93, of Rockford, went to her heavenly home Sunday, October 19, 2014. She was born January 27, 1921 in Forest City, MO, to Mr. and Mrs. Chesney. She married Red Timmons in 1937 in St. Joseph, MO. Mary Jane was a devoted member of Central Christian Church in Rockford, where she actively attended the “Lord Led Ladies” Sunday school group. Mary Jane was blessed with many talents including her love of gardening, her flowers, and working in her yard. She is survived by three daughters, Sharon (Gilbert) Peterson, Linda (Michael) Salmon, and Joy (Richard) Weyhmiller; grandchildren, Gilbert Dean (Kelly) Peterson, Kimberly (Russell) Haile, Nicholas Weyhmiller, and Amber (Ira) Haugen; great grandchildren, Ainsley and Liam Peterson and Brielle Haile. Mary Jane is predeceased by her husband Red Timmons in 1984. Mary Jane’s family would like to express a special heartfelt thank you to the staff of Anam Care, the staff of Heartland Hospice, the staff of Morning Star Village, and especially to Judy Weiher, a special friend, consultant and angel to Mary Jane and her family.
