Mary T. Salamone

Mary T. Salamone, 86, of Rockford died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at PA Peterson. Mary was born September 26, 1931 in Shreveport, LA, the daughter of Alex and Bertha (Perrone) Alfano. She married John “Gene” Salamone on June 10, 1953 in Tillicum, WA. Lived in Rockford, Illinois and Naples, Florida. Mary was a member of the Cathedral of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Survived by her sons, Eugene Salamone and Loras (Carol) Salamone; grandson, Bryant (Maria) Salamone; sister, Teresa Riofredo, sister-in-law, Mary Jane MacMurchey and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she also preceded in death by her husband, Gene, brother, Frank Alfano and sister, Frances Fiore. The family would like to thank Mercy at Home Hospice.
