Maryanne Brudnowski

Maryanne "Mania" Brudnowski, 75 of Belvidere went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born December 23, 1936 in Rockford the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Dombrzalski) A member of St. Stanislaus Church all her life. Maryanne always loved being with her family, which meant the world to her. She always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed country music, collecting dolls, going to church and every year attending the Polish Fest. Survivors include her sisters, Edna (Carl) Gustafson whom she lived with for 45 years, Stella Hawkinson and brother, Edward (Virginia) Brudnowski both of Rockford; nieces and nephews, John (Karrie) Gustafson, Brad (Leeann) Gustafson, Alfred (Denise) Hebeler, Dave (Rosann) Hawkinson, Cindy Hawkinson, Ray (Sharon) Brodeski, Wes (Josie) Johnson, Bruce (Debbie) Krandel, Bernice (Gene) Lawver, Stanley Krowczyk, Bernard Krowczyk, Joey (Lynn) Krowczyk, Sam (Connie) Zammuto, Edward Brudnowski and Rodney (Vicky) Roy; great nieces and nephews, Amy Hawkinson, Dana (Courtney) Hawkinson, Brittany and Blake Hebeler, Mike and Nick Hawkinson, Corbin and Chloe Gustafson, Hannah and Alec Gustafson and Gina, Andrea Ferling and Randee Hansen. Special thanks to Dr. Dale Gray, Emily and Peggy for their wonderful care and support and to OSF Hospice Cedi, Rachel, Julie, Michelle, Susan and Zetta for the special care given to Maryanne. Preceded in death by Anthony Brodeski, Janet Berg, Agnes Ripley, Celia Krowczyk, Helen Smagowicz, Walter Brodeski and her parents. Funeral Mass Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 201 Buckbee St. with visitation from 9 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established at a later date. Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel is assisting the family.
