Maurilio Cruz, Jr.

Maurilio Cruz, Jr., 75, of Rockford, IL passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022. Maurilio was born July 2, 1947 in Rockford, IL the son of Carmen (Rodriguez) and Maurilio Cruz, Sr. Maurilio attended Auburn High School and then proudly served his country in the United States Army and the Army National Guard. Maurilio had a big heart and would help anyone. He was an avid Chicago White Sox and Green Bay Packers fan. Most of all Maurilio loved his family. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Maurilio is survived by his beloved mother, Carmen; sisters, Connie Morales, Mary Cruz, Olivia Cruz and Theresa (Perry) Gregorcy; children, Trisha Love, Natalie (Brad) Grindle and Noelle (Aaron) Miller; grandchildren, Jamie, Rowe, Lucas and Scarlett; numerous nieces, nephews cousins and buddies.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a cause to be determined
