Megan M. Sproul

Megan Sproul, 31, died unexpectedly November 12, 2009. She was born June 21, 1978, in Rockford, to Steven and Jan Sproul. She attended schools in Rockford, graduating from Guilford High School. She attended Arizona State University and Rockford College, where she graduated with a degree in Marketing. She worked in various marketing and charitable fund raising capacities. Megan loved writing, reading, watching movies, music, people, laughing, statues of Buda, animals, and especially her golden retriever, Keaton. Her sparkle always lights up a room, Heaven will be a brighter place now. We will miss Meg. She is survived by her mother, Jan L. Sproul, father, Steven E. (Christine Hawley) Sproul, grandmother, Zona Schuttler, brother, Guy Sproul, uncle, William Schuttler, aunt Carol (Bobby) Davis, uncle Gerald (Sandie) Sproul, and several cousins, especially her cousins, Kathy Schuttler (Burton) Stoner, and Kim Schuttler. Predeceased by aunt, Sharon Schuttler Ringler.

A memorial reception will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2009, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Chamberlain Hotel building at Midway Village Museum, 6799 Guilford Road, Rockford, Illinois.
