Michelle J. Back, 33, of Belvidere, passed away at 12:30pm on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL. Born December 23, 1978, in Rockford; daughter of Ronald and Barbara Judy Gillaspy Back. Graduate of Belvidere High School Class of 1997. Attended Rock Valley College and completing BSN at St. Anthony School of Nursing. Previous employment by WalMart, Rockford Memorial Hospital and most recent employment by OSF St. Anthony Medical Center as a pharmacy technician. Michelle was one of Jehovahs Witnesses and attended the Kingdom Hall in Belvidere. Service to God and helping others to understand the Bible and Gods purpose was of primary importance to her. Michelle was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She loved her niece and nephews as her own and enjoyed spending time with them and with family. She also loved to read and liked poetry and art. Michelle was a nurturer, a giver, considerate, kind and compassionate, and had a strong desire to help those in need. She hadnbsp; a great love for her father and mother and desire to take care of them. She continually had empathy and concern for others and was always there to lend a helping hand. Michelle was grateful for life, for her family and friends. Michelles loving presence and endearing qualities will forever be missed by her family.nbsp; Survived by her mother, Barbara J. Back; siblings, Ronald E. (Andrea) Back II, Barbara Corinne (Joseph) Witte and Bryon D. (Kathryn) Back; nephews and nieces, Evan and Nicholas Back, Lauren and Alexander Witte and Dylan Back; aunt, Jean (Ron) Craig; uncle, George Gillaspy and many cousins. Predeceased by father, Ronald E. Back; grandparents, Elbert and Cora Edna Back and George and Lucille Gillaspy; uncle Daniel R. Back.
Memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 5995 Marengo Road, Belvidere. Michelle will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery and will be a private family burial. Family requesting no flowers, memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall and cards to Michelles mother, Barbara Back. Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, 1860 S.
