When an angel goes to Heaven God stands with open arms to cradle and to comfort her, to keep her safe from harm.

When an angel goes to Heaven precious memories are left behind. Of innocence, warmth and that special smile forever in your mind.

When an angel goes to Heaven she tells of wonderful times. How Mommy, Daddy, MawMaw, brother and Family were loving and so very kind.

When an angel goes to heaven one misses your gentle touch, she asks God to be sure to tell you she loves you very much.

When an angel goes to Heaven she asks even one more request that God will comfort those she loved and to know shes with the best.

When and angel goes to Heaven a part of you goes too, knowing you will be joined with her again, when your journey here is through.

Mikalah Marie McCammond, 4, of Rockford, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009 at Rockford Memorial Hospital from complications of SMA type 1. Born Aug. 13, 2005, daughter of Terry McCammond and Heidi Bauer. Her favorite colors were orange, pink and purple. She enjoyed reading books, crafts, beads, movies and music. Everyone that met her loved her.She is survived by her Mother and Father, brother Khaled Harrell,MawMaw Lisa Bauer, Step-dad Michael Harrell, Grandpa Art McCammond, great-grandma Carol Rall, bestess friend Beth Johnson and many Aunts, Unclesand cousins andnurses Connie, Kris, Alonda, Johnette. Thanksto Doctors and nurses from Rockford Memorial Hospital and Rush University Medical Centerfor taking care of her.She is predeceased by her grandma Edith McCammond in 2008.Funeral service Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Interment in New Milford Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 in the funeral home.
