Nancy J. Goebbert

Nancy J. Goebbert, 80, of Rockford, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 in Crimson Pointe. Born November 15, 1934 in Chicago; daughter of John and Josephine (Bochniak) Glon. Married Walter L. Goebbert in Indiana on March 30, 1954, he passed away on June 10, 2011.
Survivors include her son, Michael (Michele) Goebbert; daughter, Patti (Stewart) Tihinen; grandchildren, Rebecca (Jeff) Pringey, Joseph Goebbert, Joshua Goebbert, Melissa Tihinen-Klein (Michael Klein), Paul (Kathryn) Frapolly and Deana (Kevin) Clark; great-grandchildren, Brian, Jordyn, Logyn, Lucas and Morgyn Frapolly and Maggie Clark; Colyn, Kaitlyn and Nathan Pringey. Predeceased by her parents; husband; sister, Marcella Martin; brother, John Glon. Many special thanks and love to Nancy’s second family at Crimson Pointe Assisted Living and to Northern Illinois Hospice for their care.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Chapel, Rockford with Reverend Brenda Byrnes officiating. Burial Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
