Nicola "Nicky" May

Nicola “Nicky” May, 55, of Roscoe, passed away November 11, 2017 at Swedish American Hospital. Born June 13, 1962 in Aylesbury, England, the beloved daughter of John Gerald ‘’Gerry’’ and Sheila May. Nicky graduated from Arts Educational School near London, England. She followed her passion and became a dancer and dance instructor. Nicky was able to travel the world with her dancing career. She taught English during her time in Italy where she met her true love Letterio “Nello” Oteri. They married April 29, 1989 in Italy. Together they had two daughters, Chloe and Valeria. Nicky enjoyed cooking, especially with her daughters and grandson Dominic, she loved being outdoors and enjoyed theater and arts. As a family they would spend summers in Sicily and Christmas in Scotland. Family was very important to Nicky. She will be truly missed.
Survivors include beloved husband, Nello; daughters, Chloe and Valeria Oteri; mother, Sheila May-Mactaggart; grandson, Dominic Paolo Faber; brother, Stephen and Jade May and their children; sister, Lisa May; step sister Georgia and step mother Doris and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father John Gerald May.
