Noah S. Kelling

Noah S. Kelling, 20, of Kirkland, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018. He was born September 15, 1997, in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Brian Kelling and Jennifer (Jimenez) Schmarje. Noah was a gifted mechanic and started working on things at a young age, following in his father’s, grandfather’s and Henry’s footsteps. He loved working on his beloved mustangs. Noah was a member of Fuel up Fridays and the Midwest Mustang Car Group and many others as well. He was caring and fiercely loyal to his brothers and sisters. Noah would do anything for anyone. Noah was known for his sense of humor and for being a bit of a jokester. He will be sorely missed and forever remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin and friend.
Survived by his parents, Brian (Susie) Kelling and Jennifer (Henry) Schmarje; brothers and sisters, Syleena (Alex) Kelling, Angelica Ramirez, Lexi (Jay) Schmarje, Mikaela Davila, Kya Schmarje, Bryce Kelling, Madison Schmarje, Jarret Schmarje and Faith Schmarje, grandparents, Benny and Barb Jimenez and Henry Schmarje Sr.; Aunt, Brandie DeLaRosa; Uncle Rafael (Tieranie) DeLaRosa and many other aunts, uncles and cousins; brother for life, Alex Sunderlage; girlfriend, Cassandra Olson; lifelong friends, Treasure, Matthew, Renton, Ashley Ridley, Josh Lindel, Roman Steward, Cody Armato and Josh Hakes; best bud, Nico; Predeceased by grandmother, Pamela Kelling, Lily Schmarje and Tom and Maxine Parks. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel and again at 10:00 a.m. until time of service, Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Inurnment to follow Noah’s last ride at Big Mound Cemetery, Davis Junction. The family would like anyone with a “special” car to join in the ride to honor Noah.
