Orville William Egler, 77, Rockford, died at 10:20 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 in his home.nbsp; Born February 12, 1934 in Rockford, son of Orville and Rebecca McDermott Egler. Graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1952. Married Marilyn M. Weller in Rockford on October 25, 1957; she died March 25, 1985.nbsp; Employed for over 28 years by United Realty.nbsp; He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
Survivors include his children, Kimberly (Wayne) Todd, Glendale, AZ, Scott Egler, San Francisco, CA, William Egler and Beth Egler (Paul) both of Rockford and 1 grandchild.
Visitation from 11 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. followed by a graveside committal service at 12:30 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery.nbsp; Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.nbsp; Express condolences and share memories at www.fitzgeraldfh.com
