Patricia Bliven

Patricia L. Bliven, 54, Pecatonica, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013. She was born in Rockford on October 3, 1958; the daughter of David E and Elizabeth (Hall) Burk. Patricia graduated from Harlem High School class of 1977. She married Steve Bliven on June 8, 1989. Patricia worked in housekeeping at Alpine Fireside for more than 15 years and was self employed through her own cleaning business. Patricia was a sweet lady and was known as the 'candy lady' as she loved handing out candy. When she was not giving out candy she was giving out hugs. She enjoyed country music and especially liked traveling to Nashville. Patricia was a fond grandmother and will be missed by all who loved her and those who knew her. Patricia was a member of Faith Center Church.

She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth; husband, Steve; brothers, Fred, Davey, Louis and Jeff Burk; several aunts and cousins; 4 grandchildren. Predeceased by her father, David.

Funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Apostle Don Lyon officiating. Visitation from 9:00 am until the time of service.
