Patricia Jean Becker, of Belvidere, formerly of Crystal Lake, passed away Sunday, March 29th in Belvidere, at the age of 82.
Patricia was born April 9, 1937 in Chicago, the daughter of Hilmar and Erna Marie (Josephsen) Hansen.
She was the loving mother of Linda (the late Sonny) Stromek, Karen (Thom) LaBelle, and Nancy Kay Becker; beloved grandmother of David (Hayley) Ahearn, Sean Ahearn, Matthew (Stacy) Calabrese, Lindsay Calabrese, Dominic Calabrese, Diana (fiancé Justin) Calabrese, and Gina (Adam Huxtable) Calabrese; and loving great grandmother to Kaia, Jack, Cole, Isla, Luna, Clementine, Autumn, Payton, Landon, Chase, Brian, Griffin, and Isabella.
Patricia is also survived by her loving sister, Judi Andrews, and nephew Brian (Lisa) Andrews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her young nephew, Robert Mark Andrews and brother-in-law Robert (Andy) Andrews.
Along with being an amazing parent and grandmother, Pat was the most loving and caring dog mom. Every dog she took in was blessed with a great life. They brought so much joy to her.
Patricia and her daughter, Nancy, belonged to Belvidere 1st Assembly of God, where she had a wonderful church family.
A special thank you to Northwoods Care Center, Heartland Hospice, and Cherryvale Place for the kind, and compassionate care they gave to Patricia as she traveled through this season of her life.
Arrangements entrusted to Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, Rockford, Illinois.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
