Paul H. Meyer

Paul H. Meyer, 90, of Poplar Grove passed away September 9, 2018 at Maple Crest Nursing Home. Born January 12, 1928 in Des Plaines, IL the son of George & Olga (Schumann) Meyer. Graduated from Main East High School. Married Diana Kolkau in February of 1954. He co-owned M & V carpenter Company with his brother. Paul enjoyed golfing, bowling and serving two terms on the Candlewick Board. Paul was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.
Survivors include wife, Diana; son, David Meyer; grandchildren Nicole (Adam) Sanders, Michelle (Eric) Meyer, Jennifer Hodzic and Steven (Sarah) Meyer; and 12 great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents and four brothers.
