Paul S. Moore

Paul S. Moore, 66, of Machesney Park, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 in his home. He was born on January 26, 1950 in Hempstead, NY, the son of Curtis and Helen (Hines) Moore. After high school, Paul enlisted in the United States Airforce, where he served in Vietnam. He reenlisted with the Navy before returning to Rockford. He proudly served as member of VietNow National in Rockford. He started his own business as a carpenter for many years in Rockford. In 1997 he left for California then to Nevada until he returned to Rockford in 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle; his son, Brian Kinley; his daughters Jessica Palillas, Jamie (Moore) Elton; his sister Julie Aurand and brother Rick Moore; from a previous marriage he raise two step children, Cathy Stites and Jim.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
