Paula J. Brooks Kamerlander, 49, of Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born March 1, 1963 in Rockford; daughter of Billy Harlow Maxwell and Francis Michalak. Married Richard Kamerlander on May 7, 2008.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; son, Joshua Brooks; stepchildren, Karma (Nick) Otten of Bartlett, IL and Alexis Kamerlander of Arizona; mother, Francis Kitelinger; siblings, Anita Berry, Myra Maxwell, Melba (Mike) Hillman, Tom Clements, Kristina (Tom) Musa. Predeceased by her father, Billy and stepfather, George Kitelinger.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Cherry Valley United Methodist Church, 112 S. Cherry Street with Pastor Monty Fox officiating and Pastor Buddy Brown coofficiating. Entombment in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
