Phoumy Phothiboupha, 75, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Amberwood Nursing Home. Loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and faithful servant. Born March 26, 1937 in Laos Worked as a Lieutenant police officer in Laos. In 1975, he was recognized by the US government of his excellent work. In 1988, he moved to the United States. He worked for Myco Inc.Survived by his wife, Keo; children, Salithphone, Noudnoi, Kor (Bill), Koraphonh, Vilaphonh, Noudthara, Phothiboupha, Jook Bundavong and Nanoy Bundavong; 23 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren; brothers, Somdee, Houmpheang and Seangthong; sisters, Peangsy, Symong and Nalee.Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Visitation will be 1:00 until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
