Phyllis E. Copas Houston

Phyllis Copas Houston, 93, Rockford, died Wednesday, November 02, 2011. Born October 17, 1918; the daughter of Anna and Amos Estes. Married Les Copas on Newnbsp;Years Eve 1937 until his death in 1987. Remarried in 1988 to Forrest Houston until his death in 1998. Member of St. Patrick and St. Edwards Parish.

Survived by her 8 children, Sally Devine Carlson, Mary (Jerry) Kruse, Carol (Chuck) Sutton, Bill (Jean) Copas, Jim (Sherry) Copas, Mike (Donna) Copas, Joan (Jay) Gorman and Rick (Nini) Copas; 20 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; 3 greatgreat grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers, John, Bill and James Estes. The family would like to thank the staff of the Eagle wing at River Bluff Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the activities department at River Bluff Nursing Home.

Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
