Ralph P. Munday

Ralph P. Munday, 82, Cherry Valley, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. He was born June 11, 1933, in Elmhurst, the son of Arthur and Bessie (Hrych) Munday. Ralph was a veteran of the Army. He married Jeanette Smith in Villa Park on April 24, 1954. Ralph worked at Emerson Electric in Aurora for many years.
Survived by his wife of 61 years, Jeanette; his children, Tim (Cindy) Munday of Batavia, Karen Gashi of Cortland, Tracy (Terri) Munday of Steward, Tricia Claypool of St. Charles, and Kevin (fiancé, Andrea Hughes) Munday of Berwyn; his grandchildren, Lindsey (Adam) Burghraef, Meredith (Nick) Brow, Arbnore (Dritan) Cara, Kosova (Drew) Wilkins, Mimoza (Mike) Gashi, Dardan (Nereyda) Gashi, Ina Gashi, Lauren Munday. Tyler, Kyle, and Brianne Claypool and Aidan Munday; 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
