Richard Budden

Richard "Dick" Budden 75 of Rockford passed away Sunday February 24, 2013 in his home. He was born May 31, 1937 in Galena, IL. The son of George and Lucille Levins Budden. Dick graduated from St Thomas High School, class of 55. He married Cora Schorn in Hampshire, IL at St. Charles Borromeo Church. He worked for Estwing Manufacturing and the Belvidere Company throughout his management career. Member of Holy Family Church and RIAA. Dick loved old cars, from refurbishing them to going to car shows. He especially loved his Gold 1970 Cutlass Convertible. He enjoyed boating on the Rock River, Coaching youth baseball and football, Green Bay Packers, LA Dodgers, Boylan Titans and Notre Dame and the Stock Market. He also loved to meet his buddies during the week, at McDonalds, to solve all the worlds problems. Survivors include his wife Cora, his son, Jeffrey (Jennifer) of Chicago. Sister, Carol Sciame of Rockford. Two sisterinlaws Loretta (Paul) Heuer and Marie McAlpin both of Elgin and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, infant brother, Michael. Brotherinlaws, Carl Sciame, John Schorn and Glenn McAlpin. Special Thanks to Hospice of America and his nephew George and niece Nancy for always being there to help.Mass of Christian Burial at 11am Thursday February 24, 2013 in Holy Family Catholic Church.
