Robert "Bob" J. Monaghan

Robert “Bob” J. Monaghan, 80, Rockford, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023. He was born October 10, 1942, in New Jersey, the son of Joseph E. and Cornelia (Yendra) Monaghan. Bob married Caroline Dittmar on November 15, 1969, in West Orange, New Jersey. He worked for MRB Reinsurance Bureau for many years retiring as the Senior Vice President. Bob was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Caroline; his son, Patrick (Leslie) Monaghan of Chicago and his daughter, Christine (Ryan) Landerholm of Sun Prairie, WI; his grandchildren, Abiageal and Ronan Monaghan and Kyle and Dylan Landerholm; his sister, Patricia (Dr. Donald) Bender of Texas; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and his brother, Joseph Monaghan.
