Robert Decamp

Robert J. DeCamp, 41, Rockford, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013. He was born on August 24, 1971; the son of Jack and Karel (Johnson) DeCamp. Bob was an avid Chicago Bears fan and passionate about Nascar Racing. Bob was skilled in construction; he had a great mechanical aptitude and was meticulous about his work. He enjoyed fishing and snow skiing. Bob always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He was a loyal friend to many and always looked forward to barbeques and gettogethers
with his family and friends.

Robert is survived by his parents, Jack and Karel DeCamp; daughters, Christina and Cassi Cassandra DeCamp; sisters, Tammy Barker and Tracy DeCamp; nieces, Whitney Poff and Katie Barker; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; extended family, Zack, Nick and Tiffany Lee. Predeceased by grandparents, Richard (Ruth) DeCamp and Karl (June) Johnson.

Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Visitation from 12:30 until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made to the family for an establishment to be named at a later date.
