Robert Hernandez

Robert Hernandez, 14, of Rockford passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Mercyhealth Hospital. Born August 13, 2004 in Rockford. Robert just started his freshman year at Jefferson High School and previously attended Barbour Language Academy. He dreamed of joining the military when he was older. Robert was a fun loving kid. He loved playing with his younger brothers and baby sister. Robert will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is lovingly survived by his parents, Jeannett and Miguel Martinez; siblings, Anthony, Miguel and Rosemary; grandparents, Serafin and Margarita Montoya; godfather, Samuel (Yanderi) Montoya and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
