Robert R. Meyers

Robert R. Meyers 63 of Rockford passed away Wednesday January 7, 2015. He was born November 12, 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Jack and Mildred Meyers. He worked at Unison for over 30 years, retiring in 2009. Member of the Eagles Club for over 30 years. He enjoyed Camping, Bowling and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his three children, Robert (Sonya) Meyers of Chicago, Eric (Yasmin) Meyers of Arizona and Sarah Meyers. Grandchildren, Jason, Theo and Dhane. Mother, Mildred Meyers. Siblings, Sharon (Gary) Bontjes, Jack Meyers of Amboy and Melissa Dover. Longtime companion Shirley Thornton and all her family. Two goddaughters, Kali Ware and Amber Arms. Numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father and sister, Linda.
