Rodger G. Loven

Rodger G. Loven, 87 of Rockford died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Maple Crest Care Center. Born September 21, 1924 in Loves Park, IL to Albertnbsp;amp; Elsie ( Breed )nbsp; Loven. Married Theresa Moncado at St. Anthony Catholic Church on April 13, 1946. Served in the US Army. Retired from Amerock Corp after 44 years. Member of St. Anthony Church, St. Ambrose Society, Verdi Club and the Moose Club.

Survived by his wife; Theresa Children; John (Patti) Loven, Joseph (Ilona) Loven and Josephine (Jim) Saxton all of Rockford; Grandchildren; John (Julie) Loven Jr., Cyndee (Ron) Taylor, Michael (Carrie) Loven, Christopher (Beatrice Torres) Loven, Brian Loven, Lisa (Jamie Castillo) Loven, Joseph Saxton and Michael (Elissa) Saxton; 9 great grandchildren; brother Kenneth (Ruth) Kenney and brotherinlaw Peter (Laverne) Moncado, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and numerous brothers, sisters, brotherinlaws, sisterinlaws and 1 grandson. A special thank you to Dr. Norem, Dr. Korkmatz, Dr. Monkmeyer, Dr. Michelson and the beautiful staff at Maple Crest Care Center for the wonderful care they provided.

nbsp;Funeral Mass 10 am Saturday, February 4, 2012 at St. Anthony of Paduanbsp;Catholic Church 1010 Ferguson Street. Entombment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation from 5:30 to 7:30 Friday, February 3, 2012 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory (Mulford Chapel) 1860 S. Mulford Road. Memorials may be made to the family.
