Roger Lee Cavins, 53, of Rockford passed away Monday, August 13, 2018. Born January 4, 1965, in Pikeville, Kentucky, the son of Bradley and Mary (Rowe) Cavins. Roger worked in construction labor. He was kind hearted, generous and always willing to help others. Roger enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and coffee. He liked watching the Green Bay Packers and served his faith watching Joel Osteen. Roger loved seeing and spending time with his granddaughter, Kayla.
Survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Jarrett) Stearns; granddaughter, Kayla; mother, Mary Stanford; brother, Rodney (Natividad) Cavins; nieces and nephews, Angie Aros, Bradley, Blake, Kaylee and Allen Cavins and his cat, Tom Tom. Predeceased by his father, Bradley.
Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. To express online condolences, please visit: www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
