Ronald Frank Cincinnati, 67, of Loves Park, IL. died Friday morning, April 18, 2008 in his home surrounded by his four children. Born October 20, 1940 in Washington, Pennsylvania, son of Frank and Mildred Batson Cincinnati. He lived his childhood in Washington, PA and graduated from Washington High School in 1958. He continued his education at Robert Morris Business College. He proudly served his country with the US Army and served in Germany for 18 months as communications officer with top secret clearance. Returned from the service in 1962 and continued with the Army Reserves for 2 years. He was passionate and dedicated to his working career in the steel industry which began with Jessop Steel as a mail room attendant. He then was promoted to the Production Department and eventually to Inside Sales/Tool Steel Division. In 1969 he was promoted to Outside Sales covering the Chicago and Midwest Regions. In 1971 he moved to Rockford for Tool Steel Sales. He eventually left Jessop Steel and was hired at J. Rubin and Co. to head a tool steel product line as VP of Sales. In 1976 he started Cincinnati Tool Steel Co. which has now become one of the major tool steel distributors in the country. He married Clara Jean Parisse and was a devoted father to his children and a leader to his company. He enjoyed golfing and social gatherings with his family and loved ones. He also enjoyed boating and spending time with his family at their home in Wisconsin. He loved his family and grandchildren very much. He is survived by his four children, Ronald J. Cincinnati (Susan), Brian S. Cincinnati (Kimberly), Scot A. Cincinnati (Nicole) and Kelli Jo Cincinnati (Audra Cooke). Also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Maxwell Rhyse, Abigail Clara and Olivia Keegan; his brother, James D. Cincinnati and his children, Jay and David Cincinnati. Memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2008 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Rev. Dr. William Richard Kerr, Sr. officiating. Memorial visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home.
