Ronald Zaccard

Ronald L. Ron Zaccard, 80, Loves Park, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. He was born April 15, 1932, in Chicago, the son of Loubet and Irene (Thorsen) Zaccard.nbsp; Ron lived in Loves Park for 5 years, coming from Carpentersville. He was a veteran of the Army serving from 1953 until 1955. He married Doris Daughters on November 30, 1957.nbsp; She passed away in 1994.nbsp; Ron then married Sonia Kissel in Las Vegas on March 6, 1998.nbsp; He was an electrical engineer for many years and most recently was a photographer.

Survived by his wife, Sonia; his children, Steve (Terri)nbsp;Zaccard of St. Paul, MN, Rebecca (Eric) Overcash of Charolette, NC, Ken (Diane) Zaccard of Bartlett, and Dan (Kelsie)nbsp;Zaccard of Poplar Grove; his stepdaughter, Carolyn (Bob Rush) Daughters; grandchildren, Jarrod Zaccard, Sara and Josh (Gloria) Overcash, Michael Zaccard, Jeff Carrol, Justin Galias, and Reanna Zaccard; soontobe grandchildren, Blake and Syndie Gribble; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son, Rick Zaccard.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Av. with Fr. William Wentink officiating.nbsp; Burial in Fairview Memorial Park in North Lake.nbsp; Visitation from 1:00 pm until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
