Chicago- Rose Corrovossi, 90 of Chicago and formerly of Rockford, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011. Born April 1, 1920 in Rockford, daughter of Candido and Adella (DeCori) Villani. Married her loving husband Dominic E. Corrovossi, he preceded her in death in 1996. While in Rockford she worked several years for Sears Department Store, retired and settled in Chicago. Former member of St. Peter Cathedral and Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Rose enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Renaissance Club at Mt. Carmel. Survivors include her siblings, John Villani, Clara Ambrosia and Marge Saporito; daughter-in-law, Christine Corirossi; granddaughter, Geneva (Patrick) Everett;nbsp; loving cousin, Jan Corirossi and special friends, Sheila Ribordy and Tony Dima. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Richard Corirossi; daughter, Della Corirossi; brother, Mike Villani and sister Jay Marsili.nbsp;
Funeral Mass Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Cathedral, 1243 N.nbsp; Church St. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. nbsp;until time of prayer at 10:45.
