Rosemary M Estes

Rosemary M. Estes, 92, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 25, 2017; with her family at her side. She was born in Shullsburg, WI on October 23, 1925; daughter of, Evan and Christine (Menke) Christian. She married her loving husband, James Estes in Rockford on March 14, 1944. Rosemary worked for Didier Greenhouses, volunteered her time at Rockford Memorial Hospital, and was a devout member of St. Patrick Catholic Church for many years. Rosemary will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her sons, Terry (Raquel) Estes, Stan Lee, Tim (Lori) Estes; daughters, Christine Estes, Cathy Estes, and Patty (Wayne) Givens; grandchildren, Mary Ann, Rick (Jennifer), Corey, Brian, Tyler, Kyle, Ariel (Cesar), Garrett (Sara), Madison, Michael, Gabriella, and Dennis; great grandchildren, Austin, Riley, Logan, Andrew, Noah, Zayden, and Lilly. Rosemary is predeceased by her parents; husband, James; sons, Rick and Larry Estes, infant daughter, Deb; and 7 sisters and brothers.

A private family service at Rosemary’s request, will be held on a later date. Memorial donations can be given in Rosemary’s honor to the Rockford Rescue Mission, 715 W.
