Sally Ann Swanson, 74, Caledonia, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 6, 1942, in Detroit, the daughter of Joe and Mildred (Klano) Hack. Sally married David L. Swanson in Fraser, MI on October 3, 1964. She worked for Marshall Field and Company at Cherryvale Mall for 14 years. Sally was a graduate of Rock Valley College majoring in Business Administration. She enjoyed cooking for her family and working in her garden. Sally loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survived by her husband of 52 years, Dave; her sons; Jeff (Annette) Swanson of Whitefish Bay, WI and Marc (Monica) Swanson of Deerfield; her daughter, Andrea (Ron) McGuire of Caledonia; her grandchildren, Emma Swanson, Haylie, Connor and Erika Swanson and Kayla, Ashley, Carter, and Tyler McGuire; her brother-in-law, Jim Salvaterra of Ocala, FL. Predeceased by her parents and her sister, Mary Lou “Cookie” Salvaterra.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Reverend Dean Parker officiating.
