Sally Lohoff

Sally Lohoff, 69, passed away on August 31, 2021 at her home. She is the daughter of William and Dixie Atkinson. She married the love of her life, William Lohoff on November 13, 1998 in Rockford, IL.

Sally retired from Landstar where she worked as a dispatcher. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, and watching Nascar races. Animals held a special place in her heart especially her dog, Sammy. She also loved goats, she and William owned up to 40 at one time. Sally loved her grandkids dearly.

She will be missed by her husband, William, father, William (Patricia) Atkinson of Rockford; children, Christy (Marty) Pippel of Rockford, Shane (Tara) Lohoff, Shawn (Shane) Ransom both of Walnut, IA; grandchildren, Christal, Jordan, Jason, Joshua, Michael, Karina, Brielle, Kinsley, numerous great grandkids; brothers, Mike (Jackie) Seehaver, Raymond Seehaver, Kevin (Patty) Winger; sisters, Jill Winger, Wendy Winger and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Dixie, daughter, Chelli and sister, Susan.

Memorials may be given to Rockford Rescue Mission. A private family visitation will take place. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 1:15 p.m. at New Milford Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory.
