Sandra Bachman Nordenberg

Sandra L. Bachman Nordenberg, 58, Winnebago, died on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born September 3, 1954 in Rockford, daughter of Lester D. and Frances L. Williams Bachman. Graduated from Auburn High School in 1972 and received an Associates Degree from Rock Valley College. She was employed by Unison Industries for many years and was affiliated with Belvidere Assembly of God Church. Sandra was a loving, caring and giving woman who was always the family protector.

Survivors include her son, Nolan Ryan Nordenberg; mother, Frances Bachman both of Winnebago; brothers, Kenneth E. (Marion) Bachman, Forreston and Frank (Kim) Bachman, Winnebago; nieces Kori Bachman, Lindsey Bachman (Toby Owen) and Dawn (Kurt) Arndt; nephew, Kenneth Bachman, Jr.; great-nieces, Aryn Grace Bachman and Emily Owen; great-nephew, T.J. Owen; mother-in-law, Sue Nordenberg and numerous special cousins and friends. Predeceased by her father, nephews, Aaron Bachman and D.J. Bachman; former husband, Chris Nordenberg and father-in-law, Richard Nordenberg.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2013 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd with Rev. Dale Anderson officiating.
