Sandra Lynn Hunter

Sandra Lynn ""Sandy"" Hunter, 41, of Winnebago, went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2008 at Rockford Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Sandy was born July 4, 1967 in Rockford the daughter of John and Roberta (Kurth) Tibbett. Sandy married Victor L. Hunter on February 22, 1992 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Rockford. Sandy was a graduate from Boylan High School, attended Rock Valley College for two years and received her Bachelors Degree in Marketing from Illinois State University. She cherished spending time with her family and friends and loved her faithful companion Quicken. Sandy always showed concern for others and enjoyed life to the fullest. Sandy is survived by her husband Victor L.; her son Joshua L.; her parents John and Roberta Tibbett; her brother Robert ""Bob"" (Nancy) Tibbett; her nephews Andrew and Aaron Tibbett; her father-in-law Leonard Hunter and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sandy was predeceased by her mother-in-law Linda Hunter. The Funeral Mass will be offered by Father Federspiel on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 10 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church, 3004 11th Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2008 from 2 6 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. and on Monday from 9 9:45 am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Family and friends may
