Sharon A. Harrison

Sharon A. Harrison, 81 of Stillman Valley, IL passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022.

Sharon was born in Bertha, MN on July 25, 1940, daughter of Harold “Verl” and Violet (Johnson) White. She graduated from Motely High School in Motley, MN. Sharon married James V. Harrison, Sr. in Hennepin, MN on July 23, 1960. She enjoyed reading, playing trivia and other games. She loved football and arranged her Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays around the lineup. She was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. Most of all, Sharon cherished her time spent with her family. She loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in sports and other activities. She will be dearly missed.

Those left to honor Sharon’s memory include her children, Julie (Scott) Robins, Mindy (Bruce) Tucker and Jimmy (Trisha) Harrison; grandchildren, Tom (Tiffany) Stone, Kyle Robins, Kira (Eric) Patefield, Megan (Michael) Skirtich, Chase (Maureen) Robins, Justin Whipple, Nickalas (Fatima) Harrison and Kristen Harrison; great-grandchildren, Elayna, Makenna, Tucker, Roxanne, Judah, Chloe, Sawyer, Natalie, Adara, Desmond and John; brother, Dairien White; brother-in-law, Ron Gajewski; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, husband; sister, Joan Gajewski; sister-in-law, LaVaune White; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill (Barbara) Harrison and Damon (Annie) Harrison.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108. A funeral service will be Friday, April 8th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. also in the funeral home. Final resting place will conclude in Stillman Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sharon’s name to the Bread of Life Food Pantry of Valley Covenant Church in Stillman Valley, IL.
