Shirley A. Gorbet

Shirley A. Gorbet, 85, of Rockford, passed away April 20, 2020. Born September 25, 1934 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Patrick & Josephine (Driscoll) O’Malley. She own and operated Bailey Services with her companion Bill Bailey for may years. Member of St. Rita Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling with Bill. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and her great grandchild.
She is survived by son, John , grandchildren Justin (Jess) Gorbet and Nathaniel Gorbet; great-granddaughter Emma Gorbet; sister Mary Jo (Jim) Spalding, and numerous extended family members. Predeceased by parents; son Michael, companion, Bill Bailey and sister Nancy.
