Shirley John

Shirley F. John, 56, of Rockford passed away, suddenly
on Friday August
19, 2011 in her home.
She was born, October 20, 1954 in Rockford.
The daughter of Howard and Violet Collier.
She married Michael John, in the Church by the Side of the Road on July 10, 1982.
She worked for Atwood for many years and later, Mack Paper.
Graduate of Guilford high School, class of 1972.
Shirley had a passion for art, gardening, animals and helping others.
She always lived in the moment and wore a perpetual smile.
She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.


Survivors include her husband Michael, her son Eric and her mother, Violet Collier, All of Rockford.
Two uncles, Roy (Karen) Evans and Leroy (Lois) Evans.
Two aunts Rosemary James and Shirley Collier. Predeceased by her father Dale H. And brother Howard D.

Memorial services will be at 11am Thursday August 25, 2011 in Fitzgerald Funeral home Riverside Chapel, with Reverend Monty Fox officiating.nbsp;nbsp; Visitation from 10am until time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
