Sophie MacQueen 87 of Rockford passed away Monday January 31, 2011 in Alma Nelson Debes.nbsp; She was born October 27, 1923 in Ashtabula, OH, the daughter of Andrew and Magdelina Kapala.nbsp; She married Roderick(Al) Alistair MacQueen in Boston, MA on November 9, 1946, Roderick predeceased her.

Survivors include her Children; Becky (Gale) Rippentrop of Cherry Valley, Randy MacQueen of Freeport, Jamey (Debbie) MacQueen of Rockford, Jeffrey MacQueen of Loves Park and Allison MacQueen of Rockford.nbsp; Grandchildren; Roderick MacQueen, Heather (Jim Rogers) MacQueen, Nicholas and Eric Rippentrop, Lisa, Angel and Jamey MacQueen.nbsp; Great grandchildren; Alyssa, Juwell, Katrina, Nicholas and Rileigh.nbsp; Two sisters; Jeanette (John) OBrien and Wanda Brungart.nbsp; Predeceased by her parents, Husband Roderick(al), Son Roderick(Roddy), Brother Stan and Fred Kapala and Sister Violet Colby.

Services at 11am Saturday February 5, 2011 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home Riverside Chapel with Rev.
