Stanley "Keith" Forberg

Stanley "Keith" Forberg, 84, passed away unexpectedly but surrounded by his beloved family in his home on February 18, 2021. Born in Rockford, Illinois on September 14, 1937 one of three boys to Carl “Stanley” and Marjorie (Thrift) Forberg. A 1956 graduate of East High School, Keith went on to enlist as a member of the selected reserve for the military. He married the love of his life, Sandra Sampson on September 26th 1959. Keith worked in the Rockford area all of his life as a Director of Data Processing. He was a proud member of the Kiwanis Club, Model T Club, and Data Processing Management Association (DPMA). In his free time, Keith loved to be outdoors golfing, fishing, snowmobiling, as well as collecting antique cars, enjoying good food at restaurants with Sandy, and documenting as many life memories as he could through photographs.

He will be missed by those who loved him most, his wife of 62 years, Sandy; his children Steve (Penny), Dave (Wendy), and Mark (Renee) Forberg; his grandchildren Tyler, Hailee, Macie, Kristina, Jeremy, Kaelen, and Riley; his four great grandchildren; his brothers Larry and Jerry (Diane); his nieces, nephews, long time special friend Janis Giles, as well as his best friend and cat, Skeeter. He is predeceased by his parents Carl and Marjorie.
